Setsmart is a specialist shop that supplies top quality consumables at the most competitive prices around. Drawing on 25 YEARS of FILM EXPERIENCE, we found that too much time and money was being wasted on phoning and driving around to purchase products as diverse as condies crystal, bentonite and gaffer tape from as many shops.

We decided to create an in-house, one-stop consumables mart that stocks pretty much whatever you need for your production - all under one roof.

Cover it with Setmask !

A new favorite in the film industry.

Setmask is a self-adhesive wallpaper used on film and theatre sets as a temporary backdrop. It is a very low tact, saturated paper, perfect for location work. It adheres to a variety of surfaces and is easily removable after use.

Cover an existing wall with prepainted, pre- sceniced or pre-printed Setmask, then remove after shoot.

Stick it with Snot Tape !

There are many different names for this product but in Africa it has become affectionately known in the Film industry as Snot Tape or Elephant Snot.

Snot tape is a double-sided tape which will leave no residue or marks when removed. Perfect for use in film, theatre, arts n’ crafts or around the house. Used as a temporary hanging and securing solution, it can be used on location as an alternative when nails aren’t an option and won't remove paint when removed correctly. Can be used to stick up paintings, lights, dodo rails, blinds, clocks, skirtings, nearly anything that isn’t too heavy.

Fold the tape in on itself 2 or 3 times to add more strength for additional weight. Snot tape even forms a watertight seal when used between plastics! Use it to stick down vases, glassware, carpets, number plates, pictures – even an egg to a stick!

We stock the whole range of Dirty Down Sprays and Crayons, and also Anti-static, Dulling & Snow Sprays. We have in store most of the Paint FX Pots - rust, moss & verdigris - and can quickly import anything else you need.
